    Has done this

I think Brevel’s higher end kettles are insulated. I have one and the water is near boiling for a good 15-20 mins after it clicks off. It’s hot for much longer.

Although I couldn’t find it listed as a feature on the website. Maybe it naturally holds heat better than the thin plastic kind?

    Should do this

Electric tea kettles are great for people who don’t like to watch water boil on a stove. But since they’re not insulated, if I’m really not paying attention, the water will be cold again by the time I get to it. And then I need to boil it again for my second cup of tea.

    What do you think?

How likely is this to happen?
